Donnie The Poo is as much a dog toy as a statement that captured the mood fo the electorate leading up to the 2016 election.
Toy Design:
The toy needed to have a functional hole where peanut butter and treats could be placed. This would act as a reservoir for dogs to chew, lick and bite. After creating the initial sketch on a notepad I was able to replicate the toy in C4D and send to a manufacturer in Shenzhen, China.
Packaging:
Instead of creating packaging that would be thrown out. I came up with the solution of turning the cardstock into a pre-addressed postcard. This could be filled out, sent to the RNC (before Trump's election), and filled with customers' thoughts on why Trump shouldn't be elected. This opened up two outcomes, the election being altered as well as the RNC's mailroom piling up with complaints.
